Your villagers in Manor Lords have several needs that have to be fulfilled. One of these has something to do with their medieval sense of fashion. Here’s our guide on how to create clothing in Manor Lords.

How to make clothing in Manor Lords

Clothes and daily wear come into play due to the Manor Lords clothing stall supply mechanic. This pertains to finished goods sold at the town’s marketplace. Eventually, meeting this requirement allows you to upgrade your Burgage Plots and settlement level.

Clothing stall supply (rank 1): Linen, leather, or yarn

If you have a level 1 Burgage Plot, you’ll notice the clothing stall supply requirement. It entails having a stall in the marketplace that sells any of the following: linen, leather, or yarn.

Of the three, leather is the easiest one to make:

  • Select a level 1 Burgage Plot and click on the backyard extension button (i.e. hammer and gear icon).
  • Select the Goat Shed, which costs 25 Regional Wealth. The Goat Shed extension passively creates hides.
  • Go to the Construction -> Industry option, and build the Tannery. It requires 4x timber.
  • The Tannery turns hides into leather. The family assigned to this building will also automatically erect a stall that sells leather at the marketplace.
  • Make sure the marketplace is connected to your other level 1 Burgage Plots. This will satisfy the clothing stall supply requirement.

The Goat Shed is the G-O-A-T when it comes to crafting clothing in Manor Lords.

Clothing stall supply (rank 2): Linen, dyes, cloaks, and more

You still need to make more clothing in Manor Lords, specifically for the clothing stall supply requirement for level 2 Burgage Plots. This time, there should be a stall at the marketplace that sells shoes, clothes, or cloaks.

We suggest crafting shoes for this stage:

  • Select a level 2 Burgage Plot.
  • Pick the Cobbler’s Workshop backyard extension. It costs 5x Regional Wealth and 5x planks.
  • The Cobbler’s Workshop automatically crafts 1x shoes for every 2x leather. Since you’ve been making leather materials earlier, then you’re bound to have a surplus.
  • Eventually, you should see a stall that sells shoes at the marketplace. This will satisfy the level 2 clothing needs, opening the way for another upgrade if you meet the other requirements.

Leather materials from the Tannery are eventually used to craft shoes.

That’s it: that’s how you meet the Manor Lords clothing stall supply requirement for your residential housing. If you’ve been checking out materials and produced goods, we suggest reading our guides on food and ale.
