Fanatical has launched the Level Up Sale, and it features some very cool bonuses. Right now, you can find thousands of PC games for sale, and if you spend a certain amount of cash, you’ll earn a free mystery game as well. The more you spend, the better the free game (as rated by the Steam community). And since many games have received steep discounts, the freebie really is just a bonus. Here’s how much you’ll need to spend to qualify for the free game bonus:

  • Spend $12 — Free mystery game
  • Spend $20 — Free “Very Positive” mystery game
  • Spend $30 –Free “Overwhelmingly Positive” mystery game

Like other Fanatical sales with free games, you’ll want to make separate purchases if you qualify for multiple freebies, since you can only get one freebie per qualifying order.

All eligible games will have a Level Up banner in its page to help you qualify for these bonuses, and right now, the pool contains the vast majority of titles, including preorders and new releases. One of the better Goku games of recent memory, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, is on sale for $12 (normally $60) and is a fun tour of the late Akira Toriyama’s manga and anime universe. An action-RPG with some hard-hitting combat, this is an ideal game for anyone who loves looking at power levels and watching how those magical numbers make your chosen warrior more formidable.

For all-out action, you can never go wrong with Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. It has some of the best boss fights ever put in a video game, meme-worthy cinematics, and a killer soundtrack. What’s not to love?

For a few retro collections, several Konami bundles are on sale, so you can stock up on classic Contra, Castlevania, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle games. If you have a Steam Deck or Asus ROG Ally, these are pretty good classic games to boot up while you’re on the go.

Moving forward to more contemporary releases, Tekken 8 has been modestly discounted to under $59, and Lords of the Fallen got a nice price decrease for its deluxe edition. You can see more highlights above, and for some hardware deals, don’t forget to check out Target Circle Week’s gaming tech specials for steep discounts on stuff like first-party Xbox controllers.
