If you’re running out of space on your Steam Deck or Nintendo Switch and you’re not a fan of deleting games, it’s probably time to upgrade to a high-capacity microSD card. In the grand scheme of storage formats, microSD cards are pretty darn cheap, but the price tends to jump dramatically once you go beyond 512GB. The SanDisk Ultra 1TB microSD card is on sale for only $70, while the 1.5TB model is available for $120 (was $150). The offer on the 1TB model is one of Amazon’s current Lightning Deals, so you should act fast if interested.
Admittedly, these microSD cards are a bit overkill for Switch–Nintendo games take up significantly less space than a lot of P games you’d find on Steam. Unless you buy a lot of digital AAA games on the eShop, you’d probably have more than enough space with the 512GB version of the SanDisk Ultra. Plus, it’s on sale for only $33 (down from $60).
