Ring Fit Adventure, Nintendo’s popular fitness-focused game for Nintendo Switch, has received a free update that adds an entirely new rhythm-based mode with songs from its biggest franchises.
Announced during the surprise Mini Direct, Ring Fit Adventure will get its own rhythm-based mode that lets you move along to the best of tracks from Super Mario Odyssey, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Splatoon 2, and more. You’ll be doing a variety of moves like twists, ab holds, pushes and pulls on the Ring-Con, and more. Notes with specific move indicators come down three lanes, encouraging you to tilt left and right to reach them with the associated action.
In addition to the new mode, the update also brings new voice options to the rest of the game. You can now change the voice of your talking ring to a female one, and choose from a variety of languages including English, French, German, Japanese, and Spanish. You can also explore the stages in Adventure Mode without combat, letting you focus only on jogging (or mildly squatting, if you’re on silent mode) through them and collecting coins.
