After announcing its Season 2023 plans yesterday, today Riot Games has delivered full details on the League of Legends 13.1 patch that will kick off the new year.

Jayce is the Champion benefiting most from the LoL 13.1 patch, as two of his special moves while in Hammer Form will receive damage buffs, which Riot says is happening “to help balance out his stances.” 13 other Champions are receiving changes, a list which includes the following:

  • Dr. Mundo will see a decrease in base health and armor growth, but his Blunt Force Trauma ability’s bonus attack damage will be bumped up.
  • Jax will receive a full midscope update affecting all abilities, with his ultimate getting the most attention.
  • Top-tier terror support Yuumi’s Prowling Projectile attack is having its damage toned down.

Jayce’s hammer will play a larger role in his strategy with Patch 13.1.

Items affected by the LoL 13.1 patch include the Rod of Ages, the Archangel’s Staff/Seraph’s Embrace combo, and Horizon Focus. One particular item change of note is the Jak’Sho, The Protean item, which is having some ratios shifted in order to make it less dominant for fighter-class Champions.

Finally, the patch will add the following skins and Chromas to the earnable skin pool:

  • Lunar Emperor/Empress
    • Ashe
    • Qiyana
    • Thresh
  • Lunar Guardian
    • Kha’Zix
    • Malphite
  • Mythmaker
    • Galio
    • Garen
    • Irelia
    • Sivir
    • Zyra
  • Prestige
    • Porcelain Lissandra
    • Mythmaker Sivir
