Hogwarts Legacy has many collectibles for you to discover. One kind, the Astronomy Tables, will have you exploring the game world to gaze at the stars. Here’s our Hogwarts Legacy guide to help you find all Astronomy Tables.

Astronomy Class main quest and first Astronomy Table

To start looking for Astronomy Tables in Hogwarts Legacy, you’ll need to complete Astronomy Class. This main quest is part of the campaign, and it should be available at the halfway point. In it, you’ll talk to a classmate named Amit, and he seems to have a penchant for stargazing.

Follow the waypoints as usual, then interact with the Astronomy Table to bring out your telescope. The goal is to align the constellation pattern with the stars, which you can do by rotating the camera, adjusting it sideways, and zooming in or out.

Once completed, you’ll be able to interact with other Hogwarts Legacy Astronomy Tables. However, this can only be done when it’s night time. As such, you might need to advance the day-night cycle by pressing the corresponding button prompt (i.e. “F” key for PC players) when the world map is open.

Hogwarts Castle Astronomy Table

There’s one more Astronomy Table in Hogwarts Castle, and it’s just outside the Greenhouses. You can fly there once you have a broom, or take the long way via the North Exit Floo Flame. This location also has a door that’s covered in vines, which leads to a secret corridor in the Greenhouses. It’s where you can find one of many legendary chests in the castle.

Anyway, to solve this Astronomy Table in Hogwarts Legacy, just fully zoom out and rotate clockwise. Then, adjust the alignment of the pattern accordingly.

Northern Highlands Astronomy Table locations

Below, we list the other Hogwarts Legacy Astronomy Table locations. These are found in the Highlands, technically any area that’s not part of Hogwarts Castle or Hogsmeade.

  • South Hogwarts Region: Scorpius – Slightly west of the Forbidden Forest fast travel point; zoom out fully, then rotate clockwise.
  • Forbidden Forest: Draco – Right next to the Hippogriff Den in the middle of the forest; zoom out fully, then rotate clockwise.
  • Hogsmeade Valley: Leo – West of the Upper Hogsfield hamlet; zoom in and rotate counter-clockwise, then adjust the telescope slightly sideways.
  • North Ford Bog: Centaurus – Right next to San Bakar’s Tower; zoom out fully and rotate clockwise while adjusting the telescope to the right.
  • Hogwarts Valley (Brocburrow): Corvus – On a hill in the outskirts of the hamlet; zoom out fully and rotate counter-clockwise.
  • Hogwarts Valley (Keenbridge): Capricornus – Found at the top of the tower; zoom out and rotate accordingly until the triangle pattern matches.
  • Feldcroft Region (North Feldcroft): Lacerta – Along the cliffs overlooking a bandit camp; zoom in and adjust slightly to the right.
  • Feldcroft Region (Rookwood Castle/South Feldcroft): Horolugium – On a small hill south of Rookwood Castle; zoom in and adjust the telescope to the left, away from the largest star since it’s not part of the pattern.

Southern Highlands Astronomy Table locations

The remaining Hogwarts Legacy Astronomy Tables are found in the southern half of the map. You’ll need to pass through a mountain tunnel in the Coastal Cave to reach the vast area beyond.

  • Poidsear Coast: Hydra – On the hill opposite the South Poidsear Coast Floo Flame; zoom out fully since the pattern requires you to match all the stars, and adjust the angle accordingly.
  • Marunweem Lake: Canis Major – In the northeast along the cliffs overlooking the large bandit camp; zoom in and rotate clockwise so the stars forming a triangle match the dog’s head.
  • Manor Cape: Sagittarius – At the tip of the peninsula where you can also do Henrietta’s Hideaway and Solved By the Bell; zoom out and adjust the angle.
  • Cragcroftshire: Cetus – Just southeast of Cragcroft hamlet; zoom out and rotate counter-clockwise.
  • Clagmar Coast: Lupus – Directly south of Clagmar Castle along the cliffs overlooking the Graphorn Den; zoom in and rotate clockwise.

Once you’ve found all Astronomy Tables in Hogwarts Legacy, check the Challenges: Exploration tab. You should obtain the Starry-Eyed Seer’s cosmetic set. While it doesn’t provide any stats directly, you can use it for transmogrification purposes on any relevant gear piece (i.e., scarf, cloak, and outfit). You can see how this cosmetic set looks in the image below.

Once you’ve solved all Astronomy Table puzzles, you’ll receive a new cosmetic option for your scarf, cloak, and outfit.
