With just a few weeks to go before it launches, Nintendo has announced that one more “pre-launch” trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will go live on April 13. According to Nintendo, this trailer will contain roughly three minutes of footage, and like previous teasers, can be viewed on its official YouTube channel at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET.

Having been in development for several years now, Nintendo has kept a tight lid on the sequel to 2017’s Breath of the Wild. Only a handful of trailers for the game have been released since it was first revealed during the E3 2019 Nintendo Direct. The previous Tears of the Kingdom trailer showed off more gameplay, including Link’s new ability to fuse materials together to create new weapons and vehicles. Weapon durability in Breath of the Wild was a polarizing issue for fans, but the new Fuse ability allows Link to create makeshift weapons like a big stick with an even bigger rock attached to it.

Other abilities in Link’s arsenal include Ultrahand, which can create new vehicles by merging specific items together, and Ascend, which allows Link to pass through ceilings. Development on the game is officially complete according to Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma, and Nintendo has begun marketing the game with limited-edition merchandise.

A Tears of the Kingdom Switch OLED Model that features Hylian crest designs on the console dock and controllers is available for preorder, and in Japan, you can get a collector’s edition version of the game that comes with some fancy silverware.

Out on May 12, Tears of the Kingdom is the first Nintendo-published game to sell for $70, but Nintendo of America president Doug Bowser has said that the game will justify its high price tag when fans discover how “immersive” the game is. It’s worth noting that Nintendo’s Switch game voucher promotion allows you to get two games for $100, and Tears of the Kingdom is eligible for this promotion.
