Microsoft has announced the next set of titles set for removal from the Xbox Game Pass library. A total of six games are leaving the Game Pass library across console, cloud, and PC on January 15, including We Happy Few, a title developed by Microsoft’s own Compulsion Games.
Microsoft bought Compulsion just before the game launched in August 2018, and Compulsion had an existing publishing deal with Gearbox for We Happy Few. This could explain why it’s leaving Game Pass, since Microsoft’s own games typically don’t get removed from the library.
In addition to We Happy Few, Microsoft is removing Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, Nobody Saves The World, Pupperazzi, The Anacrusis, and Windjammers 2
As usual, Game Pass subscribers save 20% on all Game Pass titles, so that’s a silver lining at least.
In terms of what’s being added to Game Pass in January, Microsoft has announced three titles so far: Monster Hunter Rise, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 3 Portable. Microsoft said in a blog post that it’s “just getting warmed up” so fans can likely expect more additions as well in the time ahead.
