Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection is finally here, giving fans easy access to some of the best stealth games ever made. Volume 1 includes seven titles plus a bunch of bonus content–such as graphic novels and digital screenplay books–making it a notable collection for long-time fans and newcomers. And despite launching today, October 24, the collection is already discounted for PC to just $46.79 at Green Man Gaming.
Green Man Gaming is selling the Steam version of the Master Collection, so you shouldn’t have any problem adding it to your library. Unfortunately, that’s the only edition up for grabs. Anyone playing on PS5, Xbox, or Switch, will have to pay full price at a major retailer like Amazon (for now).
Another thing to keep in mind is that the Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection requires a controller to play, as keyboard and mouse inputs aren’t supported. That shouldn’t be a dealbreaker for PC gamers–but keep it in mind before making your purchase.
As for what’s included with your purchase? Here’s a look at everything offered by the Master Collection:

- Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake

On top of all that, you’ll also get a digital soundtrack. Note that we’re not sure when this sale ends (Green Man Gaming isn’t advertising a date), though we can’t imagine it’ll stick around for long. If you’re a fan of the series, or looking to check out the action for the first time, be sure to take a look at this impressive deal today.
How do these classic stealth games hold up? Quite well, unsurprisingly. The compilation earned an 8/10 in our Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 review.
