Gravesite Plain weapons
#polygon-map {height:300px}
@media (min-width: 600px) {#polygon-map {height:500px}}
Gravesite Plain is the first major area in the Shadow Realm of the Lands Between, and it’s where you’ll start your journey in Shadow of the Erdtree. There are 22 unique weapons to be found here, from bosses, dungeons, and exploration.
Beast Claw
The Beast Claw drops for Logur, the Beast Claw, a mini-boss who hangs out in the Gravesite Plain woods.
Head east from your first site of grace and you’ll find Logur wandering around in the woods. If you get close, he’ll attack you. Take him down and you’ll earn his weapons.
Black Steel Greathammer
East of the Gravesite Plain Site of Grace, you’ll find the Church of Consolation. In a tent on the east side of the church, you’ll fight a Black Knight, who will drop the Black Steel Greathammer for you.
Note: If you’ve killed this knight but don’t have the Black Steel Greathammer, you may have encountered a bug that appeared in an older version of the game. There doesn’t seem to be any workaround for this, so you’ll need to get it on another playthrough.
Backhand Blade
The Backhand Blade is northeast of the Scorched Ruins and southeast of the Three-Path Cross Site of Grace.
Just off the road, overlooking the river, you’ll see a small mausoleum. Walk up and into the stone pavilion and grab the sword from the pillar of light.
Greatsword of Solitude
In a single-room dungeon called Western Nameless Mausoleum, which is west of the Scorched Ruins in Gravesite Plain, you’ll face the Blackgaol Knight. Take him down and he’ll drop the Greatsword of Solitude.
Bone Bow
The Bone Bow is in Belurat, the castle on the west side of Gravesite Plain. Head through the dungeon until you reach the upper level, past the second site of grace.
Near where you can unlock an elevator shortcut back down to the first level, you’ll find a tower with a broken staircase. Inside this tower are two of the large scorpion spiders. Kill them and loot the body in the room to get the Bone Bow.
Curseblade’s Cirque
The Curseblade Cirque is one of three Backhand Blade weapons in Shadow of the Erdtree, and it’s a random drop from Curseblade enemies. You can find an easily accessible Curseblade just south of the Stagefront Site of Grace in Belurat.
Bloodfiend’s Arm
The Bloodfiend’s Arm is a random drop from Bloodfiend enemies, who you can find scattered around the Shadow Realm. They’re particularly plentiful in Prospect Town in Gravesite Plain.
For some additional help farming for this weapon, check out our guide on how to earn the Bloodfiend’s Arm.
Great Katana
In the massive lake in the northern half of Gravesite Plain, where the Ghostflame Dragon lies, you’ll find a dead body floating in the water. Walk up to it and loot it to receive the Great Katana.
Pata
Southeast of Prospect Town, you’ll find a small cave entrance that leads to the Church of Benediction, right above where you first started in the Shadow Realm. Near the church, on a ledge overlooking your starting position, you’ll find a body. Loot it to earn a fist weapon called Pata.
Firespark Perfume Bottle
Just south of the Castle Front Site of Grace, outside of Castle Ensis, you’ll find a chest being guarded by a group of Perfumer enemies. Kill them and loot the chest to earn the Firespark Perfume Bottle weapon.
Milady
Milady is just outside of Castle Ensis in Gravesite Plain. Across the long bridge near Belurat and then across another small bridge to Castle Ensis, defeat the giant blocking the way and push a bit deeper into the area. On your left, you’ll find a staircase that leads to a large ladder. Climb up.
When you reach the top of the tower, open the chest in front of you to get Milady.
Moonrithyll’s Knight Sword
As you’re making your way through Castle Ensis, you’ll find Moonrithyll, Carian Knight, guarding the true front gate. When you kill them, they’ll drop their big, magical sword, the Moonrithyll Knight Sword.
Spread Crossbow
Southeast of Castle Ensis and the Castle Front Site of Grace in Gravesite Plain, you’ll find an enclosed camp in the hills. Take out the group of Messmer soldiers and loot the nearby body to get the Spread Crossbow.
Smithscript Dagger
Inside the Ruined Forge Lava Intake, a small dungeon to the southeast of Castle Ensis, you’ll find the Smithscript Dagger.
To reach this weapon, you’ll need to fight your way through stone giants and lava blobs until you reach the room with the massive pipe mechanism suspended in the ceiling. On the lower level of this room, tucked up against the wall, you’ll find the Smithscript Dagger on a body.
Anvil Hammer
The Anvil Hammer comes from the Ruined Forge Lava Intake dungeon, which is southeast of Castle Ensis.
Inside, make your way to the top floor and work your way into the room with the massive pipe mechanism. Use the lever to lower the mechanism into the lava and then jump onto it. Follow the pipe all the way to the top to find the Altar, which will give you the Anvil Hammer and an Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone.
Messmer Soldier’s Spear
Messmer Soldiers with spears can drop their weapon for you — the Messmer Soldier Spear. You can find these enemies all over the place, often on the roads leading east from Castle Ensis.
Swift Spear
On the road east of the Castle Front Site of Grace, outside of Castle Ensis in Gravesite Plain, you’ll find a group of Messmer soldiers around a corpse. Kill them and loot the nearby body to get the Swift Spear weapon.
Dragon-Hunter’s Great Katana
In the Dragon’s Pit dungeon, which is to the east of Castle Ensis, make your way through until you fight the Ancient Dragon-Man. Kill him and he’ll drop his weapon, the Dragon-Hunter’s Great Katana.
Death Knight’s Twin Axes
West of Castle Ensis, in a dungeon called Fog Rift Catacombs, you’ll encounter the Death Knight. This boss is in the third basement of the dungeon, and will drop the Death Knight’s Twin Axes when you defeat him.
Poisoned Hand
The Poisoned Hand is in the poisoned lake area of Belurat, in western Gravesite Plain. You can access this area via the ladder in the well once you find the Well Depths Key in the upper area of the castle.
Once you enter the poison lake, go right and fight through the bugs. Behind a building near the far wall, in the poison water, you’ll find a corpse. Loot it to get the Poisoned Hand.
Horned Warrior’s Sword
The Horned Warrior’s Sword is located in the poisoned lake area of Belurat, in west Gravesite Plain. To get to the poison lake, grab the Well Depths Key from the upper area in the castle and use it in the Belurat well.
Once you make it to the poison lake, run across the water to your right until you find some solid ground. You’ll find one of the golden horned warriors. Kill them and they’ll drop the Horned Warrior’s Sword.
Deadly Poison Perfume Bottle
You can purchase the Deadly Poison Perfume Bottle from Thiollier for 6,000 Runes in northeastern Gravesite Plain, by the Pillar Path Cross Site of Grace.
Cerulean Coast weapons
#polygon-map {height:300px}
@media (min-width: 600px) {#polygon-map {height:500px}}
The Cerulean Coast is a beautiful beachside area south of Gravesite Plain. You’ll find seven different weapons to add to your arsenal down here.
Spirit Glaive
Starting at the Charo’s Hidden Grave Site of Grace in the Cerulean Coast, make your way through the arch and hug the right side of the red flower field. Ride along the cliff until you come across some Gravebird statues that mark a path. Follow the path to a large, broken tombstone at the end and you’ll find a body. Loot the body for the Spirit Glaive.
Dancing Blade of Ranah
In the Southern Nameless Mausoleum — which you can reach via an underground cave southeast of the Cerulean Coast, West Site of Grace — you’ll fight the Dancer of Ranah. Defeat her and she’ll drop the Dancing Blade of Ranah alongside her armor set.
Spirit Sword
North of the Cerulean Coast, West Site of Grace, you’ll find a grove-like area with waterfalls and some enemies. Take the right path and go forward until you find a big tombstone. In front of the tombstone, you’ll find the Spirit Sword weapon.
Star-Lined Sword
North of the Cerulean Coast, West Site of Grace, take the left path to face Demi-Human Queen Marigga and her cronies. Defeat all the enemies, including the boss, and she’ll drop the Star-lined Sword.
Chilling Perfume Bottle
In the Lamenter’s Gaol dungeon, continue through until you enter a room with an icy floor. Take the first door on your right. Behind some crates to your left, you’ll find the Chilling Perfume Bottle.
Lamenting Visage
Inside the Lamenter’s Gaol dungeon, progress until you acquire the Lower Level Key. Go to where you first fell down the hole into the lower area. Take the stairs and follow the path back to the normal area. Before you head through the door that will take you back to the main area, hit the wall ahead of you to reveal a secret passageway. Use the key to get through the door and pick up the Lamenting Visage off a nearby corpse.
Velvet Sword of St. Trina
In the Stone Coffin Fissure dungeon, just past the Fissure Cross Site of Grace, take a left instead of following the main path. Climb onto the giant coffin that’s vertical and stuck in the ground. Carefully take the path down. When you reach the bottom, you’ll see a small cave ahead of you. Inside you’ll find some ooze enemies and the Velvet Sword of St. Trina.
Scadu Altus weapons
#polygon-map {height:300px}
@media (min-width: 600px) {#polygon-map {height:500px}}
Scadu Altus is the second major region in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. You’ll find 30 unique weapons in this area.
Carian Sorcery Sword
West of the Highroad Cross Site of Grace in Scadu Altus, jump into the water and go south of the waypoint that teleports you to the ruins. Carefully jump down into Castle Ensis, onto a rooftop that’s inaccessible via the main dungeon. Follow the path and open the nearby chest to get the Carian Sorcery Sword.
Smithscript Spear
In the southeast part of Scadu Altus, beneath the western lake, you’ll find a small dungeon called Ruined Forge of Starfall Past. Inside, past the site of grace, cross the first bridge. To your left you’ll find a lever. But to your right, you’ll find a corpse that’s holding the Smithscript Spear.
Smithscript Cirque
In the Ruined Forge of Starfall Past dungeon, which is in the southeastern part of Scadu Altus, you’ll find the Smithscript Cirque in the final room in the dungeon.
Open up the second gate in the forge via the lever and go inside. You’ll find a dead body near a pit and two stone giants. Grab the Smithscript Cirque off the body before or after you deal with the enemies.
Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword
Inside the Ruined Forge of Starfall Past dungeon, which is located in the southeastern part of Scadu Altus, you’ll find an altar hidden in one of the rooms. Clear out the dungeon and go to the second lever which lifts the second gate. Lower it to the ground and then pull the lever again to raise it. Quickly climb on the gate before it gets too high up and ride it to the second floor platform.
In the next room, interact with the altar to get the Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword.
Repeating Crossbow
North of the Moorth Highway, South Site of Grace in Scadu Altus, where you fought the Ghostflame Dragon, you’ll find a body lying in the field with the Repeating Crossbow on it.
Serpent Flail
The Serpent Flail is located inside the Fog Rift Fort, which is a difficult to reach fort just south of the Scadu Altus, West Site of Grace. From the site of grace, jump down the cliff to your left until you reach the fort. Progress through until you reach the bottom level that’s filled with flamethrowers and soldiers. Defeat them and at the end of the path you’ll find a chest with the Serpent Flail inside.
Black Steel Twinblade
In the army camp in the northern part of Scadu Altus, you’ll find some Black Knights with a twinblade staff. When you kill them, they have a chance to drop the Black Steel Twinblade.
Dryleaf Arts
The Dryleaf Arts are fist weapons you’ll earn from fighting Dryleaf Dane at the Moorth Ruins Site of Grace as part of the Dryleaf Dane questline.
Messmer Soldier’s Axe
Wherever you defeat a Messmer Soldier wielding an axe, there’s a random chance that it will drop the Messmer Soldier’s Axe for you.
You can find these soldiers all over the Shadow Realm, especially in the Shadow Keep dungeon.
Main-gauche
After killing the Golden Hippopotamus in Shadow Keep, push forward and keep right. You’ll eventually find a room with some Messmer Soldiers and a Black Knight with a twinblade. Dispatch the enemies and move over to the ledge that rests above the door you came through earlier. Loot the body here to get the Main-gauche.
Fire Knight’s Greatsword
The Fire Knight’s Greatsword is a random drop from Fire Knights that wield it. You can find an easily farmable one by starting at the Storehouse, First Floor Site of Grace in the Shadow Keep and going down the elevator.

Stone-Sheathed Sword
The Stone-Sheathed Sword is in the Castle Watering Hole area of Scadu Altus, which you can only reach via a hidden passage in the Shadow Keep waterways. Awaken and destroy the Furnace Golem blocking the entrance to the Ruins of Unte. Once you’re inside, run up to the tombstone on your right and loot it to earn the Stone-Sheathed Sword.
Note: You’ll find the Stone-Sheathed Sword at whichever altar you come across first. The other two altars will become the altar of Light or Darkness. You can read about the other altar locations below.
Sword of Light
One you have the Stone-Sheathed Sword, you can take it to the Altar of Light, which is actually in the Ancient Ruins of Rauh. To get there, start at the Rauh Ancient Ruins, West Site of Grace and take the stairs up to the second floor. Then ride into the room filled with rot enemies. Follow their path until you find a balcony outside and a tower in the distance. Run out onto the invisible floor and you’ll reach the altar. Interact with the altar to transform the Stone-Sheathed Sword into the Sword of Light. You’ll lose the Stone-Sheathed Sword when you do this.
Note: Depending on what other altars you’ve visited, this may not be the Light altar location. You’ll find the Stone-Sheathed Sword at whichever altar you come across first. The other two altars will then become the altar of Light or Darkness. You can read about the other altar locations above and below.
Sword of Darkness
Once you have the Stone-Sheathed Sword, head into the Fog Rift Catacombs dungeon in Gravesite Plain. Progress through the dungeon until you find the long room with the smashers. Kill the magic user and the Imps on the other side of the room. Then stand on the balcony and wait for the smasher to come down. When the smasher hits, you’ll see a small room inside of it. Jump in and let it carry you up. At the top, walk out and climb on top of the smashers. You’ll find the Altar of Darkness on your right. Interact with the altar to turn the Stone-Sheathed Sword into the Sword of Darkness.
Note: Depending on what other altars you’ve visited, this may not be the Darkness altar location. You’ll find the Stone-Sheathed Sword at whichever altar you come across first. The other two altars will then become the altar of Light or Darkness. You can read about the other altar locations above.

Tooth Whip
The Tooth Whip is located east of Bonny Village, which is in the eastern half of Scadu Altus. Across the fissure in the middle of town and then across the wooden bridge, you’ll find a small building appropriately named the Whipping Hut. Inside, you’ll find the Tooth Whip on a dead body lying near the wall.
Rabbath’s Cannon
At Rabbath’s Rise, which is in the eastern part of Scadu Altus, go inside the tower to break the spiritspring seal on the balcony. Then ride the wind up to the staircase on the main tower of the building. At the top of the tower, open the chest to get Rabbath’s Cannon.

Sword of Night
After defeating Count Ymir, Mother of Fingers, as part of the Count Ymir questline, rest at the nearby site of grace. Return to where Jolan used to stand in the Cathedral, against the pillar on the right, and you’ll find her dying. Offer her the Iris of Occultation and she’ll drop the Sword of Night.
Queelign’s Greatsword
On the path from the Church District Entrance Site of Grace in Shadow Keep, which you can reach via a path through Bonny Village, you’ll find Queelign’s Greatsword.
Jump along the rooftops from the site of grace until you drop into the giant church. Instead of continuing forward, turn around and you’ll find a wooden door. Use the Prayer Room Key — which you can get by defeating the Invader version of Fire Knight Queelign at the Church of the Crusade — and you’ll find Fire Knight Queelign on the ground. Interact with Queelign and choose the Iris of Occultation to get Queelign’s Greatsword.
Fire Knight’s Seal
In the Church District of Shadow Keep, which you can enter via a path east of Bonny Village, you’ll find a flooded area that you can drain via a lever. Once the water level has fallen, look for the headless statue of Marika. Jump onto its hands and then onto the ground. Behind the statue you’ll find the Fire Knight’s Seal.
Lightning Perfume Bottle
The Lightning Perfume Bottle weapon is south of the Ellac River Downstream Site of Grace. Follow the path down and into the river water until you find a Furnace Golem stomping around. From the Recluses’ River Downstream Site of Grace, in eastern Scadu Altus, follow the left path to the other side of the river, on the cliff. Defeat the birds and then drop off the left side of the rock to land on a small platform near a gravestone. The Dryleaf Seal will be sitting in the mud.

Inside the church, just past the site of grace, look for a body leaning up against a window on your left. Loot it to get the Frenzyflame Perfume Bottle.
Nanaya’s Torch
In the library of Midra’s Manse, once you activate the lever to move the bookshelf, follow the upper path and jump over to the newly moved platform. Smithscript Axe

Euporia
Progress through the fortress of Enir-Ilim until you find the area with the giant tree and the Horned Warrior wearing a Dancing Lion helmet. To the right of the arena where the warrior appears, go down the steps and through the doorway. On the other side is a broken balcony. Carefully jump off the ledge and follow the path here through a series of difficult jumps until you reach Belurat castle again. From there, take a right down the big, circular elevator. Then follow the path down, defeating another Dancing Lion-headed warrior before taking another elevator. Open the big door and collect the Euporia twinblade weapon.
Horned Warrior’s Greatsword
As you continue to climb Enir-Ilim, the final dungeon, you’ll encounter a Horned Warrior wearing a Dancing Lion helm that uses tornado attacks against you. Kill him and he’ll drop the Horned Warrior’s Greatsword.
